Munnar is a beautiful hill station, and was the summer resort of the British. Tourists come here to see the vast tea plantations of the area.
Eravikulam National Park is located along the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala. Twenty six species of mammals have been recorded in the park including the largest surviving population of Nilgiri tahr.
Thekkady is a town near Periyar National Park. It is considered a haven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, nutmace, ginger, and clove.
Alappuzha(Alleppey) is considered to be the oldest planned city in this region and the lighthouse built on the coast of the city is the first of its kind along the Laccadive Sea coast.
Kerala Backwaters is a maze of water bodies stretching over 900 kilometers. One of the most important aspect of tourism in Kerala, the backwaters were used traditionally as waterways to ferry rice and spices from one places to another in kettuvallams or the traditional rice barges which now forms the major tourist attraction and ferry tourists and visitors from one destination to another.
Raja Ravi Varma rose to international fame when he won an award at the exhibition of paintings in Vienna in 1873. Ravi Varma is particularly acclaimed for his paintings depiciting the mythological characters.

    Cochin – Munnar

    In the early morning we will arrive at Cochin airport and proceed to Munnar- Munnar is well known for its lush green hills and tea plantations. Check in to hotel. After lunch we will visit to Eravikulam national park.? Eravikulam National Park is famous for its endangered inhabitant - the Nilgiri Tahr. Spread over an area of 97 sq. km., this park is also home to several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds.Evening is for Leisure activities. Overnight stay at Munnar.

    Munnar Sightseeing

    After Breakfast we start munnar sightseeing? Mattupetty Dam: Here we will enjoy the speed boat ride, there also we can see wild elephant.? Then we will Eco point which is 4 KM from Mattupetty dam.? Tea Museum: Here we can see how to make tea from tea leaf and history of Munnar tea plantation.Overnight stay at Munnar

    Munnar – Periyar

    After Breakfast we will proceed to Periyar for sightseeing. Periyar is known as the Spice Village. In Periyar wewill visit 2 villages.1. Kumily: this is also known as spice village.2. Thekkady: which is wild life area.? Spice Garden: Here we can see variety of spice plant and medicinal plants also.? Kathakali Show Kathakali is one of the oldest theater forms in the world.Overnight stay at Periyar

    Periyar – Jatayu earth centre – Trivendrum

    After breakfast visit? Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve, is in the mountainous Western Ghatsof Kerala, southern India. This wildlife sanctuary is home to tigers and a significant elephantpopulation, as well as rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison. In the park'snorth, Periyar Lake is popular for boat rides. Proceed to Jatayu Earth Centre.? Jatayu Earth Centre that hosts the world’s largest bird sculpture. Spanning over 65 acres across fourhills. Jatayu is a legendary bird from the Indian epic Ramayana. We will reach the hilltop using a cablecar. Proceed to Trivendrum. Overnight stay at Trivendrum.

    Trivendrum Local Sightseeing

    Trivandrum is Thiruanantpuram which means the city of lord Ananta.? After breakfast we will visit famous Padmnabh Swamy temple. After that we visit Raja Ravi Verma artgallery and Napier museum.? kovalam beach is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters. Overnight stay at Trivendrum.

  • Day 6

    Trivendrum – Alleppey

    Today after breakfast we proceed to Alleppey is known as ‘the Venice of the East’. Offering the best tourist places in Alleppey, this charming place is the hub of Kerala’s backwaters and is home to a huge network of backwaters and more than thousand houseboats. It is also famous for its boat races, marine products, and coir industry. Also enjoy boat ride in Alleppey backwaters. Overnight stay at Alleppey.

    Alleppey – Cochin
